PopSugar Must Have January 2016 Box Review

image

This is my 10th PopSugar Must Have box and review.  This is “a monthly delivery of fabulous surprises, curated by POPSUGAR Editor in Chief Lisa Sugar”.  The January 2016 Box contained the following:

  1. Pehr Designs Pebble Speck Bin, Sugg. Retail $40  (I absolutely love bins… but not this one… I unfortunately don’t like the speck print.  I will likely fill it up with goodies and re-gift it!)
  2. Spark Joy book by Marie Kondo, Sugg. Retail $18.99  (I’m so excited to read this book, written by an expert cleaning consultant, to help me tidy up and stay organized! Great addition to the first box of the new year!)
  3. Patchology FlashMasque Trio, Sugg. Retail $20  (My favorite item in the box!  The claim is that these facial sheets will revitalize, hydrate and illuminate my skin in just 5 minutes… I will test them out and report back!  Look for this review very soon in my skin care section!)
  4. Blue Sky Day Designer Weekly Planner, Sugg. Retail $15.99 (With smart phones… I’m not sure what need anyone would have for an old school planner.  I will not be using this, and will try to sell it on ebay.)
  5. Not Soap, Radio Bath & Shower Gel Gift Set, Sugg. Retail $22 (This set includes various scents, each infused with different herbal extracts… I will use these in the coming months and review them in my skin care section!)
  6. Project 7, INC Summer Snow Sugar Free Gum, Sugg. Retail $1.99  (In less than a minute this gum loses it’s flavor.  It does taste exactly like a snow cone… but not for long!  I’m not big on gum that tastes like food for this very reason.  However, one reason to love this gum, is that the proceeds from every seventh pack purchased, go toward antibullying efforts in the U.S.)
  7. ChapStick Total Hydration 100% Natural Soothing Vanilla, Sugg. Retail $2.99  (This age-defying formula uses argan oil & other natural butters & oils to replenish lips and combat winter dryness.  I will test this out and let you know if the claims are true!)

$122 approximate Total value!  I pay $39.95 per month, which includes free shipping. At no additional savings, 3-month and 6-month purchase options are also available. This is my favorite monthly subscription service because they always deliver great products at an amazing value!  I am definitely going to continue my subscription, so that I can discover more new brands and products I like at an incredible price!

This is my 8th PopSugar Must Have box and review.  This is “a monthly delivery of fabulous surprises, curated by POPSUGAR Editor in Chief Lisa Sugar”.  The November 2015 Box contained the following:

  1. Deepa Gurnani Katie Crystal Headband, Sugg. Retail $56 (This headband is gorgeous!  I don’t wear headbands often because I’m in my thirties LOL… but I’m going to hang onto this, in hopes that the right occasion will present itself for me to rock this beauty.)
  2. Tarte Cosmetics Beauty & the Box Eye Shadow, Sugg. Retail $22  (I’m not big on eye shadow, but I’ll try this out …so look for this review in the coming months.)
  3. West Emory Bingo Set, Sugg. Retail $20  (I am a game fanatic… and I don’t have a bingo set… so I’m happy about this item!)
  4. Capri Blue Mercury Jewel Box in Rain, Sugg. Retail $18.95 (This arrived to me broken and unusable.  You can see in the photo that the whole right side of the glass candle container is shattered… tiny broken pieces were all loose in the bubble wrap… that clearly didn’t work to protect the product. Disappointing, because I would have loved to use the container for something else, once the candle was used up.)
  5. Gramr Gratitude Co. Exclusive Thanksgiving Postcard Pack, Sugg. Retail $10  (Too late to use these for this Thanksgiving… but I’ll give it a go Turkey Day 2016!)
  6. Terrapin Ridge Farms Pecan Honey Mustard, Sugg. Retail $6 (I took a tiny taste sampling of this and it’s SO delicious!  Can’t wait to cook with it!)
  7. Inkdot Gift Card, Sugg. Retail $20  (This website turns digital photos into prints, coasters, phone cases and more!  I will definitely be using this!!)

$153 approximate Total value!!
