Darby Smart To DIY For July 2015 Box Review

image

My 6th Darby Smart “To DIY For” monthly kit is the July 2015 project, which is “DIY Floral Chandelier” and included the following:

  • (7) Glass Vials
  • Brass Hoop
  • Microfiber Suede
  • Jute Cording
  • E6000 Glue
  • SPECIAL EXTRA!!  “Hey Girl” Ryan Gosling zipper pouch —haha, LOVE this!

I loved this months craft!!  I tied all the suede cords to the hoop, instead of gluing them like the instructions called for… because I thought it would be more secure that way and there was plenty of cord.  Otherwise, I followed the instructions step by step.  I did not use real flowers however, because of the maintenance and my lack of green thumb… for the flowers safety of course LOL.  I got this cluster of adorable flowers at Michael’s for only $5 and LOVE the result!

I pay just $19 per month, but there are 6 month and 12 month options available as well.  If you love to craft and create… I highly suggest you visit DarbySmart.com and shop and/or sign up!

I give this Darby Smart project 4 paws!

Crazy Cat Lady July 2016 Box Review

This is my 3rd Cat Lady Box… and I’m still LOVING this subscription!! The July 2016 theme was “Another Day In Purradise”, and included the following:

  1. Another Day In Purradise Tank exclusively by CatLadyBox, Sugg. Retail $17.99 (First ever tank top in a CatLadyBox and I’m glad to be a subscriber!  It’s very comfy… and it sure is another day in purradise when it’s spent with my little fur balls!)
  2. Shady Cat Beach Towel exclusively by CatLadyBox, Sugg. Retail $14.99  (Not a high quality towel fabric, but I LOVE the graphic print.  SO adorbs!)
  3. Silver Cat Clip Bookmark Set, Sugg. Retail $9.99  (This is a limited edition item for CatLadyBox.  I like this type of bookmark… that just clips on to the page… and it’s a bonus that they are cute kitties.)
  4. BONUS: Tropical Lip Balm,  Sugg. Retail unknown  (I love lip balm and this one is a yummy tropical flavor.)
  5. Palm Tree Catnip Toy by Loopies, Sugg. Retail $5.99  (Infinity is a catnip addict… so she of course immediately took a liking to this toy!  See the adorable photos below!)
  6. Catnip Beach Ball by Imperial Cat, Sugg. Retail $4.99  (Infinity is such a unique kitty… one of the many reasons I love her so much!  She loves to play fetch… like a dog LOL!  Even though this catnip ball is a little larger than the normal mice toys she favorites… she plays soccer around the house with it and attempts to carry it to me in her mouth.  It’s quite precious.)

Total value is $55!  I bought a 3-month subscription for $115.99 and saved $17.39 with promo code “CATMOM” for Mother’s Day.  So after tax, I paid $105.51 for 3-months, making this box only $35.17!  I am so excited to see what themes they come up with next!!

I give this box 4 paws!

PopSugar Must Have June 2016 Box Review

image

This is my 15th PopSugar Must Have box and review.  This is “a monthly delivery of fabulous surprises, curated by POPSUGAR Editor in Chief Lisa Sugar”.  The June 2016 Box contained the following:

  1. Hat Attack Neutral Diamonds-Printed Sarong, Sugg. Retail $58  (This is a very pretty, lightweight sarong with a neutral palette, so that it will go with many different bathing suits! Love it!)
  2. Sisters of Los Angeles “Cheers” Bottle Opener, Sugg. Retail $12  (I have a lot of bottle openers, but this one is classy and chic with the golden hue.  Great addition to this outdoor/ togetherness/ summer themed box.)
  3. Wild and Wolf Ridley’s Games Room “Who Am I?” Quiz, Sugg. Retail $12.95  (What is more fun than a game night among friends?!  This easy-to-play game will surely be a hit at my next game night!)
  4. NCLA Born on the 4th Nail Lacquer, Sugg. Retail $16  (This patriotic polish was designed exclusively with PopSugar. Perfect for a 4th of July mani or pedi… look for my review on this very soon!)
  5. Knock Knock Are You Ready For Your Close-Up? Compact, Sugg. Retail $10  (I have so many compact mirrors… but the cute phrases make this one too adorable to not keep!)
  6. Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes, Sugg. Retail $9  (I’ve never tried deodorant in the form of a wipe… so I will be testing this product, to let you know how it stands up against traditional stick deodorant.)
  7. Pressels Sriracha, Sugg. Retail $1.29  (These are good…but I’d prefer them with some hummus!  Not my favorite snack by themselves.)

$119 approximate Total value!  I pay $39.95 per month, which includes free shipping. At no additional savings, 3-month and 6-month purchase options are also available. This is my favorite monthly subscription service because they always deliver great products at an amazing value!  I am definitely going to continue my subscription, so that I can discover more new brands and products I like at an incredible price!  Happiness Delivered!

Crazy Cat Lady, June 2016 Box Review

image

This is my 2nd Cat Lady Box… and OMG I love this subscription so much!! The June 2016 theme was “Pampurr Yourself”, and included the following:

  1. Cat Butt Pillowcase Set exclusively by CatLadyBox, Sugg. Retail $31.99  (My favorite item in the box… LOL, so hilarious!)
  2. Handcrafted Artisan Soap by Purring Buddha, Sugg. Retail $7.95  (This shop was named after the owners special 3-legged cat… Buddha.  Their products are organic, cruelty-free, non-GMO, vegan friendly and eco-friendly.  I don’t typically use bar soap… but I will give this one a try.  I received the vanilla bean scented soap, called Serenity Meow… cute name!)
  3. Satin Catnap Sleep Mask exclusively by CatLadyBox, Sugg. Retail $12.99  (I don’t use sleep masks, so I will be selling this, or re-gifting it.)
  4. BONUS! Spa Washcloth exclusively by CatLadyBox, Sugg. Retail $3.99  (A nice little bonus in the box, to go with the “Pampurr” theme.)
  5. Imperial Cat Custom CatLadyBox Scratcher & Catnip Pouch, Sugg. Retail $5.99  (A quality scratcher, custom-cut to fit in the cat lady box, so the cats get a spa experience too LOL. Both of my kitty’s LOVE this… as you will see in the pictures to follow!)
  6. Multi-pet Catnip Loofa Cat Toy, Sugg. Retail $6.99  (As I was setting up the box contents photo for this blog, Infinity immediately took interest in this toy… you can see her sniffing the catnip in the photo LOL.  Since then though, she hasn’t played with it much at all.  I think it’s sort of big for a cat toy.)

Sable, my 16 year old orange exotic Persian, says… “If I fits… I sits!”  She does a great Grumpy Cat impersonation LOL.

Total value is $70!  I bought a 3-month subscription for $115.99 and saved $17.39 with promo code “CATMOM” for Mother’s Day.  So after tax, I paid $105.51 for 3-months, making this box only $35.17!  I am so excited to see what arrives next month!!

Darby Smart To DIY For June 2015 Box Review

image

My 5th Darby Smart “To DIY For” monthly kit is the June 2015 project, which is “DIY Marbled Candle Holders” and included the following:

  • Premo! Grey Granite Oven Bake Clay
  • Sculpey Black Oven Bake Clay
  • (2) Sculpey White Oven Bake Clay
  • (4) Tea Light Candle Molds
  • (4) Tea Light Soy Wicks
  • Soy Candle Wax
  • Fresh Blooming Candle Fragrance

(Disclaimer:  The photo above includes Mod Podge and a foam brush… which I put in the box in error.  I have so many Darby boxes to do right now… I’m getting the kit items all mixed up LOL!)

The How-To instructions for this project were easy to follow and simple to carry out.  I always like to put my own creative spin on the projects… so instead of making 4 mini votives… I made one large heart, which I now have 4 tea light candles for!

I am SO loving how it turned out… and couldn’t be happier with the results!  As for the floral fragrance… OMG… the best smelling candle scent!!  This DIY project was fun and absolutely worth the cost.

I pay just $19 per month, but there are 6 month and 12 month options available as well.  If you love to craft and create… I highly suggest you visit DarbySmart.com and shop and/or sign up!
